In 2026, Melanie Widhalm and Viktor Niedermayr joined forces and founded p² advisory. Together they combine their experience from politics, business, law and communications into an advisory approach that connects different perspectives.
The Foundation
p² advisory was founded in 2026 from the conviction that today's complex challenges require an integrated advisory approach.
The boundaries between politics and communication are increasingly blurring. Companies need partners who master both disciplines and can seamlessly bring them together.
With Melanie Widhalm and Viktor Niedermayr, p² advisory brings together different professional perspectives and many years of experience from politics, business, law and communications.

Founder
Melanie Widhalm is a lawyer and communications expert with many years of experience in public affairs, public policy and strategic communications. As a founder of p² advisory, she advises companies, executives and institutions on complex communications and positioning questions – from corporate communications through litigation & crisis communications to CEO positioning. Before founding p² advisory she held senior roles at the intersection of business, politics and communications, among them Head of Public Affairs & Communications at an investment company and political adviser and press officer in ministerial cabinets.
At the intersection of business, politics, law and media she combines communications expertise with a deep understanding of political and regulatory processes. Her legal background and her network among relevant stakeholders allow her to identify reputational risks early and to develop strategies for demanding situations.
Public Affairs & Political Communication
Viktor Emanuel Niedermayr, MA
Founder
Viktor Niedermayr is a public affairs and communications expert with many years of experience at the intersection of politics, business and media. Before moving into advisory work he spent several years in the immediate environment of the Austrian federal government, advising two federal chancellors during that time.
His focus lies on public affairs, government relations and political communications. He accompanies national and international companies on political and regulatory questions and develops strategies for dialogue with decision-makers and relevant stakeholders.
